There is no question, Mara gave you the best source in the US and perhaps this world.

Not in the world. One really has to gander through this site. I have linked to the American southwest Natives page. .. They do not devide between natives and cactus here. Their consept of the American southwest does include Northern mexico at least. I see Mexican agaves on this list. There might be a page just for cactus somewhere here. look around. They have extensive collections from EVERYWHERE. I can not speak for the quality of the seeds. They are pricey. I do think they have a high minimum order. They are in France. The reason why Europeans have such great collections is because they have access to this place, me thinks.

One does have to know ones family names of the desired cactus... No pictures, just miles and miles of names.

If you want even more cactus look at the Mexican Native page and then travel south to South America and check their pages. It will take time, studying and googling pictures.

They have more TEXAS NATIVES than anyplace in Texas or the Americas.

One day , I will order from them. If anyone does a order PLEASE contact me. I would flesh out your order. I do not knw the hassle of ordering over seas with the phytosanc... permits and such.

I hope the OP found what they were looking for. I hope you dont mind me coming here to ask. I wanted to ask if theres a place to buy succulents/cacti from hobbyists? Like a succulent kijiji? Im new to the hobby and wanted a few pieces, but seeing all those names and no pics + $20+ just for shipping really has me turned off. Ive been to my local nurseries, no luck. Either nothing or just a boring piece and overpriced.

Since Im new I have nothing to trade, so trading on this forum is a no go. I have semps, sago palm, common succulents and agave parviflora. I was looking into cacti that were moderate to fast growing and hardy to zone 5.
