I see these at Walmart and really want one. What's their real name? The ones there have the stones glued on, why do they do that?? Are they removable?

David
I bought mine at Walmart and the stones "were" glued until I got it home. I took a small philips screw driver abd poked a hole through them and began lifting chunks of the toppings off. Being careful to stay away from stem until I got it out of pot. Then I gently kinda peeled them away from it. Been 3 months now..replanted in good C&S /perlite soil and it has 2 new crest like growths appearing..1 on top and 1 under.

The stupid stones are glued to make shipping the plants easier. :-/

Ive purchased a few things from walmart, all of which were in the glued stone. Certainly due to shipping, this one was too.

I see, so does that mean there's no way to repot these things? Do you find it a problem or glued on stones are okay too?

I always pretty much immediately repot, the glued stone thing just cant be good in the long run. You just have to be gentle, you can get the stuff broken up.
