my blooming cactus....

Hi all...I just got my computer back....
and I wanted to post a picture of my blooming cactus, from a few weeks ago....this cactus lives year round on the south side of my house.....linda

Very nice. Are you in Z4? Some opuntia NEED cold to get them to bloom. Do you know what opuntia it is?

Hi...sorry I don't know the name...
I am afraid that I am the worst when it comes to the names of plants.....
I am in zone 4-minnesota, and it stays right there in front of my house, south side....
it lies down and goes to sleep in september before it freezes here and then come spring end of april here it stands up and grows its blooms and new pads...
you can see lots of flower buds and pads in the picture...
