Those leaves are just drying out and falling off. In the bottom right panel, however, those tips do not look good. I would recommend a repotting into a more porous mix without peat-moss.

The problem I've had in the past, before switching to a gritty type mix, was the roots bunching up really bad at the surface, particularly around the trunk. I'd basically have a hard packed mass of roots with decomposed peat moss, which became hydrophobic. Then, the leaves would shrivel and fall, like yours, due to an actual LACK of water. The bottom of the pot would be a soupy mess of decomposed peat moss which rots whatever roots try to inhabit that area.

The short version: Josh is right, repot into a better mix.
