I've had a good sized hobbit jade plant since December 2013 and it recently started dropping massive amounts of leaves- but not how I normally see them drop. The leaves are turning super hard, shriveled, gray, and have a shimmery coating to them. I've never seen my other jades do this. I've posted some pictures, so I hope you can see what I'm talking about.
It is in a south facing window (the best option I have for light) and gets watering when the soil is dry and the leaves feel less "squishy"-- more often during the warmer months.
Also, as you can see in the overall picture, the trunk/stem area with the worst amount of leaf drop is now starting to droop and hang. AAHH!
I haven't had any luck finding information on this anywhere.
Any help would be SOO appreciated!! My poor little jade!
Thanks,
Gretchan
