    Beautiful!
    I love watching the blooms/buds on these grow! Like a big balloon! Will be looking forward to seeing it !

    thank you JoJo.... I didn't realize it actually did grow like a balloon, just several days ago it was smaller :)...
    will post once it's opened and/or bigger...

    Chuy, its different for sure I've never seen one of those before looks nice, I too will be standing by for some pics of the blooms.

    Hi..... It's still there - it's gettin bigger ;-). Hasn't opened as of yet! Trust me- you'll be the first to see it once it opens - thx for asking

    LOL, Greg! Yes! Open, Open, Open! JoJo, I liked that Mervyn's commercial (one fo our favorite stores to shop-sorry to see it close up)!

    Chuy, I'll venture to say your plant is Orbea variegata. The pod shouldn't get too much bigger. I think it'll open any day now! =)

    Oh man! That's a beautiful flower, Chuy. The patterns and shape is so nice. I've always been put off because some tend to attract flies. This one seems bug free. ;]
    Haha, Rosemariero, I, actually, first thought of Fran n Furter from Rocky Horror Picture Show " So come up to the lab and see what's on the slab. I see you shiver with antici... pation" But, then Joni and the ketchup commercial immediately interceded...

    Thank you all for your nice comments!! Makes me happy to know others enjoy it as well! I actually took it for a ride today to show off!! I text my brother a pic of it and couldn't believe his eyes. He didn't believe it was real. ;-). I had to prove it. Lol

    Beautiful flower and great looking plant. It should give lots more flowers in the future. It's always fun to see the first bloom on a plant.

    JoJo- Hijole can be translated as "oh, wow!!", "oh my!!", and for those that are young at heart and hip :)- "oh snap!"

    In the next week or so i'm going to be working on the garden that these are in,so more than likely will have some more cuttings as they break easily.Anyone that wants any for postage and the USA only,send me an email thru my page,and i'll take orders on a first come,first served basis.
