Are you watering it? Summer is rest period for these, let it dry. If the rot stops and you have solid stems, they can be re-rooted in the fall. Good luck with everything, especially with what is going on outside your walls.

Aeoniums are not very good with summer heat. It is best to pull back on the water and find it a cool shady spot. I live in Texas and I don't even try to grow them since cool shady spots are few. I have killed a few.Good luck with both. I hope the outcome is for the better in both cases. My hats are off to you for getting that many people out in the streets. Jaw dropping.
