I think it is a wonderful specimen! One head near the ground is common. A large, branching Aeonium like yours shows how well you've grown it. Now, I should mention...I do NOT show my plants...but view them at shows. I like seeing larger specimens. I've had folks tell me I should put some in shows...when they've been like yours. Just my humble opinion. =) Good luck!!

take a look at the show schedule and see if that helps clarify things. If you are still not sure talk to the show chairman.

idk about shows, but one head low to the ground is just a cutting in my book.

Oh, this blows one-headed plants low to the soil out of the water. An Aeonium of this height and with this many rosettes exhibits your growing much better.

Think I've posted this before but here's a pic of my girlfriend's Mum's Aeonium arboreum "Schwartzkopf" that should definitely be in a show! It's stunning!

First and foremost, you like it. Second, I personally think it looks pretty cool. I'd say show it. And if there is no fee for entering the plant, then you really would have nothing to lose by showing it.

One other question if I may.

As you can see the plant is in a green house, it as a window in the roof that open when it gets hot, but it only opens when the temp. is need 100f is there way of adjusting so it will open earlier

PS when the sun is out it is on the green house from early morning the late evening.
