blue chalk stick seed

The plant I bought has a few seed on it. Can I propagate these? If so, do I break open the pod & plant the fuzzy inside or do I plant the whole pod? Should I lay them on top of the soil or under the soil? Keep wet or dry? Thanks.

RE: blue chalk stick seed

In my years of growing and propagating succulents, I have NEVER been able to get any member of the Senecio genus to come up from seeds. I suspect the seeds may be sterile.
I have inquired on specialist forums and have had other experienced growers state the same. That said, I find chalk sticks easy to propagate from cuttings.

Thanks for taking time to help.
