Nancy! It's terrific you're getting mid summer blooms!

Just got home from vacation yesterday. This is what I found. Just an aside, the pink/purple one was given to me for Mother's Day several years ago by my daughter. After a repot in crappy soil and lots of neglect, only 4 leaves remained total. I joined GW to try to save it, learned lots about soil and these are my first flowers since it recovered. Of course, now I have 100+ pots of thriving C&S. But, I digress.

Thanks PG, Entero and Laura...to get EC to bloom in July is definitely been a one timer for me since I started growing them :o)

Nancy, these guys didn't bloom at Easter, so they aren't second blooms like yours is! I bought the red, white and an orange ones last year around, obviously, Easter. They were all in bloom. This is the first year they've bloomed for me. The orange one is developing one bloom, go figure.

I'm really proud of the purple one because it was really at death's door before I repotted it into the bark in November, 2012.

The flowers are much more beautiful, imho, than TC and CC.
