Flowers today

I get morose when I have to leave home for extended periods. It means I will not see the buds that are almost open. These opened today so I took pics.
Rhipsalis species. Doesn't like cold or drought, blooms freely.

Echinocereus subdenudata. Mostly blooms early in the spring, but sometimes give a couple of bloom after I get them set out.

I forget the name, but it is a very distinct plant. Missed the other blooms.

The next 2 are Turbinicarpus I think. Seeds I bought from Mesa.

Nice blooms, D! Hate to miss stuff when I'm away too! That 2nd one seems to be something else than what you say. Is the 3rd distinctive one Obregonia denegrii?

Nice blooms and you should be so proud that you grew some of the plants from seed. Those tiny white flowers are so cute.

Is the second one perhaps a Echinocereus subinermis?

I'm already dreading being gone for a few days in September because I know I'll miss some lovely blooms.

Yeah, my IDs are always suspect. Thank goodness I don't have a reputation to uphold.

For a while I was growing tons of plants from seed. It became a problem even giving them away. I am trying to down size so i only rarely grow from seed, I think I have more volunteers than planted seedlings anymore. Just today I found some baby Cleistocactus growing in a pot of something else. Gotta go, there is a hotel room with my name on it 2 hours away.
