jade plant with divots on edges of lower leaves

Hi all. Thanks in advance for your time. I have a jade plant that has rounded divots out of some of the lower leaves as well as some yellowing of the lower leaves. The upper new growth leaves look good, green with the red tips. We keep in a south facing window on a 4 inch sill right by the glass. Wondering if it is getting sun burned? Any help and suggestions would be welcome and appreciated. I am new to jades and have had this since january. Thanks

Not sunburn. The lower leaves are yellow from overwatering, and the divots could be old damage, pest damage, et cetera. The more pressing issue is what looks to be a very moisture-retentive soil. I would re-pot into something with much more perlite and other grit (no sand).

Potting mix is too organic, for one thing. Need a fast draining mix for optimal growth. Also I cut or pinch these back a bit to promote branching.
