Mystery mammillaria pup.

Ive had this thing along time and all of a sudden it started growing this cluster of thorns out of it. I was wondering if someone could tell me if its a pup. Thanks

Update, in about a months time its grown three more pups. I think it heard me talking that I was going to get rid of it so it started growing pups to make it more interesting. Lol

I have the same mammillaria! I still don't know what it is. It was just labeled "owls eye" cactus.

Thanks you cybunnies, I think im getting closer to my I.d.those mamms. Are are so hard to I.d.because theres so many. I just checked on it today and now its up to eight pups, its got a ring of pups around the whole top now im excited.
