Container size for Paddle Plant

My paddle plant needs to be repotted. It is doing very well (fingers crossed). I'm just not sure how much larger to go. Also it has been on the bottom rack of a baker shelf, so I know I will need to place it on the patio floor. Should it be in partial sun then? Here is a photo.

Wow that's a beautiful Paddle! How old is this plant? It's huge! I have one growing in my dish garden so I'm wondering how long will it take to outgrow the pot it's in..

i have one of those that is even bigger,mine grows in and old sink from the garage that was used for the washing machine.It's been in there for years with some other plants.Just gave a neighbor a few clippings the other day.

I planted that long before i knew anything about cacti and succulents,thrives on neglect!!
