Cereus Peruvianius monstrose "Camelot"

It's in a little 2 1/2" pot, and I've already gotten rid of the yellow strawflower. From what I can tell, this plant grows from the bottom, so I need to put it in a wider pot to give it room to grow.

It has lots of thorns, and they give the appearance of yellow or gold fuzz on top. Don't let it fool you - I'm going to find some gloves before I repot into better soil and a bigger pot.

I was so impressed with (Ming Thing( in an earlier thread, I shopped Home Depot, hoping to find a similar one. Instead I found this one - Cereus Peruvianus (Mini(. It was in a 3( pot and I moved it to a 4( pot.

I was impressed with Ming Thing too. I wasn't actually looking for one but when I saw it at Lowe's I snapped it up. ;-)

I don't get to Lowe's very often, but I am always impressed by their selection.

I'd love to see your Ming Thing if you have a picture to share. How often do you water? Are you growing under lights or outdoors? Mine are under lights, and I am careful with the water.
