Hello
First of all, PSA: if you live in the central Columbus region of Ohio, do NOT BUY CACTI OR SUCCULENTS from Strader's Garden Center. That place is a death trap for healthy plants, and the last three I have purchased from there have suffered severely from various ailments related to their care. Save your money, go to Oakland Nursery.
Secondly, I was wondering if anyone could identify this fungal infection on my new kalanchoe luciae. It is lightly dusty white and new growth is most affected. There are some black rash-looking areas on the undersides of larger leaves and affecting the new, small growth at the top. I've ordered some potassium bicarbonate with which to treat it, and in the meantime am repotting it and have sprayed it with a mixture of water, soap, and baking soda. Is there anything else I can be doing? Is it salvageable? Thank you for your advice, as always, and I hope you're enjoying your holiday.
