I hate this E. lactea

I repotted this plant a couple of years ago and unfortunately it is top heavy. It keeps falling over. It's driving me insane. I would like to prune it. Repotting is a nightmare because I no longer have my garden gloves and frankly I'd just like to stick it in the dumpster :(

Any advice appreciated

First, a picture of the monster would be helpful to direct suggestions. Having said this, a very large sharp knife and a quick chop and you will have a more manageable plant. Allow the top to callous for at least 10 days, it it is a thick piece, and replant.

Now the obligatory caution regarding the latex, which can cause skin and eye irritation. Wear gloves and safety glasses when pruning this, as a precaution.

Christopher.
