Sedum rubrotinctum leaf propagation

Hi,

I have some jelly bean/pork and beans leaves propagating (as well as some other leaves). Some of the Sedum rubrotinctum leaves are growing roots. What do I do next? Will leaves sprout with the roots and the original leaf die off? Or should I put the little leaf in the soil upright, with the roots in the soil?

Thanks!!
