Hi,

I accidentally left my cactus out and it rained-- got water damage. This was over 6 months ago. It got the black spots. Since then those spots have shriveled up. There are still a couple spots. I have rarely watered it since then.

Recently I've been concerned that the cactus had a parasite because it was getting little webs all over it. I've cleaned off the webs a few months ago and it seems OK. But just in case I have kept the cactus away from my other plants...

I have noticed the bottom part of the cactus has the white color. I removed it from the pot, and I don't smell mold. That area feels thin (it isn't as "fleshy" as the green parts).

Do you all think this cactus will survive? Does it look stable? The white part is concerning me, and I also haven't been able to find much info on the spots drying/shriveling up.
