Its some type of Rhipsalis

Looks like a pencil cactus (Euphorbia tirucalli.) I have one too and it looks almost exactly like that, but the segments are longer. Yours looks young like mine. I'll attach a pic of mine so you can see if they look similar.

I agree with Rhipsalis. Definitely not Euphorbia tirucalli.

yeah it has more segments than a pencil cactus, but is growing outwards and up like mine and is the same color as my pencil cactus. That photo is an old one, it has grown more. The photo is kind of blurry, so it is a little hard to tell, but I looked into Rhipsalis and it does seem to look more like that than a pencil cactus.

Well folks, after a little bit of research under rhipsalis in my botanical encyclopedia I found out that it is erythrorhipsalis pilocarpa. From the limited research I did it is supposed to flower. That's quite an exciting prospect for me.

Don't hold your breath, rhipsalis flowers are diminutive, though cute.

Not pilocarpa. That one has a fine web of hairs on it with segments longer than the photo shows. I think it is closer to Rhipsalis cereuscula (Erythrorhipsalis is an old name). The flowers are small, almost white and the berries are light green/white and tasteless. Blooms for me in the late spring, one of the later Rhipsalis to bloom.
