| Gasteria batesiana?
I got it at a plant swap this spring and that is how it was labeled, but in the pictures I can find on line, the color and markings vary greatly from picture to picture. Thanks for your help. Jim

| Gasteria batesiana should have bumpy non shiny leaves, so you plant is different since the leaves seem more shiny and smooth. Can you feel the white spots or all they just smooth? Maybe G. brachyphylla or a hybrid. A form of G. bicolor? I'm not sure, but is has become apparent Gasteria are not labeled very consistantly. |

| Noki, thanks for your time. Most of the shine in the photo is reflected light. On some leaves, you can feel every spot, on others, only the spots on the back of the leaf, and on some, you can feel the spots within 2 or 3 inches of the tip, but not further back. it seems quit odd. Jim |
