Tropical or desert cacti?

I'm curious as to which cacti are your favorite, tropical or desert cacti? Also what are your favorite genuses/species? For me I'd have to say tropical cacti, and I like Rhipsalis and Schlumbergera the most cause they are able to thrive in the house. Pictured below are Schlumbergera truncata(left), Rhipsalis baccifera subsp. horrida/ pilocarpa cuttings(middle), and Rhipsalis elliptica, and Rhipsalis paradoxa(right). sorry my pics are kinda bad.
