| Jay, You've done well, getting this Mammillaria species to flower, and imaged, too, so I think you'll get a correct-to-the-subspecies name from one of the usual suspects (not me). Mamms, as you may know, are the largest genus (I think, now that I think about it) of cactus, in terms of number of species and sub-species/variety/form in the genus. |

| cactusmcharris ~ Well thanks ! I don't DO much of anything , and this is actually the 2nd time in 4 months or so that it's bloomed ! I really like the "textures" on this one , all the little " cones" so to speak with the little cluster of thorns on each tip ! And it appears to be a rapid grower as well ! Thanks Again ! Jay |
