Pachypodium saundersii

caudex1

Got this in a trade last year and it was in a 12in diameter 10in deep pot. In April of this year I used for a demonstration on root pruning at the Central Coast C&S club. I removed about 6in of the roots right up to the base of the plant. I staged it in this pot at the demo and brought it home then placed in the corner of the yard to dry for 5-6wks. When it started showing new growth I gave it a drink and let it go dry again for 2-3wks. Last week I gave it a good drenching and it's ready to show
