Please ID this beautiful cactus? plant

This is the result of a tiny piece of cactus I stuck in a pot about 9 months ago. It started to grow about 6 weeks ago, and then I went outside this morning and found that it has almost doubled in size and there are these two lil shoots on the top.
Anyone know what it is? I have it in a 4 inch plastic pot planted in cactus soil mix. Should I repot to a larger pot?

I'd add LOTS of perlite or pumice to that mix. Like 50/50 mix & yes, I'd pot that a bit larger. Lookin' good, enjoy.

Opuntias are unlike other cactus in that they like a nice root run. They get as large as the pot will allow. In the ground plants get much larger quicker that potted plants.

It is amazing how it transformed/grew overnight!

I will re-pot it.

It must be SUMMER! :)
