Cactus and pot in stereo - I can dig that most effusively.

They look too perfect to be real! You have certainly outdone yourself with this plant! The pot looks like it was thought up by the same mind that created the Astro. This could be a poster in an art house. What wonderful twins, surely the blossoms can't add to this.
And I am happy when I get my single A. myriostigma to bloom. I think I'll go out and throw rocks at my plant.

Dz,

I've felt that about my own plants sometimes, so I'm glad there's a support group to join.

I have hundreds and hundreds of cacti and succulents in pots.. .and none look as nice as any of years... I just don't have the patience and no how to make your living sculptures... very nice!

You guys are too kind.

The pot was a remake. I was creating a large container that collapsed, the clay was then split into 3 portions to make smaller versions. Made the pot a few months ago. Was going through my small cacti collection and noticed the Astrophytum had grown significantly. Time to stage. Took the plant to pottery shelve to find something, and the match was made.
