Recommendations for planting an entire landscape during Summer?

Hi I have a large clay yard, but we mounded the soil and added tons of decomposed granite to the soil as well.

We need to plant the entire garden in the next week because the deadline for a city credit ends.

Any recommendations for keeping the plants alive after planting? Do you generally deep water succulents after planting them in ground from pots. Also a lot of my succulents don't have developed roots because they were made from cuttings, so I'm afraid they'll fry in the sun.

It's been in the 80s and sunny most days. It's also been very dry.

Most of the plants are Agaves (attenuata etc), some aloes, echeveria, Aloes, senecio chalk fingers, lots of aeoniums (which are summer dormant), jade plants, etc. Many are from cuttings that have barely grown roots.

We installed some small drip sprinklers. What do you recommend for drip irrigation timing during summer? i was thinking once a week for X amount of time?
