The same two pots overflowing with beautiful curly gypsum agaves have sat at a San Antonio nursery for a year or more. I keep looking at them, but haven't taken the plunge mainly because San Marcos Growers says they are badly damaged at 25 to 30 degrees. Another site says they are good down to 20. They have not been protected at the nursery, but last winter was a mild one. Does anyone have experience with their hardiness? I have a feeling that if they were hardy in San Antonio I'd see them around.
Thank you!
