Euphorbia obesa

When I purchased this 2yrs ago I thought it was just a volunteer seedling next to the mother plant. A few months later I could tell it was offshoot. You can see it has risen above the soil line. Even looked like it was going to crest there for a bit, but it has reverted to a normal growth pattern

What the...?!?! That is awesome! I didn't know that they pupped; I thought they only reproduced by seed.

My E. obesa started off looking like yours did - but mine became MOSTRUOSUS - developed three growing points.

And FINALLY managed to post a pic !!!!!

wow! Seedsgrowing, yours is AMAZING! I have never seen anything like it! I love E. Obesa, it is one of my favorite plants, just so cute! I have two.
This one is pretty normal and I've had her a while:

This one my boyfriend just got me, he saw it at a nursery for the same price as some tiny ones in 4in pots, and knowing I love them he snapped it up! It looks like maybe it has a little pupping action going on too? Or maybe a seed just landed there and another is starting to grow... the "baby" is rather etoliated and weird looking, but I'm hoping I can fix it!
