There is a plant at the bustop near my house that I want to try and propagate with a cutting. Everything I read talks about taking a cutting, letting it "callous" over and then planting the calloused end in a small pot of soil good for succulents.
Is this "allow to callous" part simply taking the cutting and letting it sit for a day or two? Like, in the air? On my desk? On a plate?
I know it's probably obvious, but I'm new.
