Jade Plant turning purple

Hello!

I have a Jade plant and I've had it for a good three years, it was originally apart of my grandmothers that she still has. It's recently started to grow to one side, I'm thinking maybe because it's heavier and the leaves are turning purple! I water it when the leaves are soft and I drain excess water away. Some of the leaves are fully purple whereas others are only around the edges. A couple also have white dots on them.

Can anyone advise me on why this has happening? I used to have it on my bedroom window which would get the morning sun, moved it to the kitchen which didn't really get much and decided to move it to the upstairs hall which gets the evening sun, that may have something to do with it as it's been there for a couple of weeks and I've only just noticed over the past couple of days that it's changing colour.

Can you please take Pic with the flash on so we can see the color better? It's a little to dark for me to see it thanks

Nothing to worry about. Jades turn purple (or develop purple edges) when they're receiving the right amount of light. I call it "blushing," but some plants "blush" when they receive "good light." Some Aloes turn red or brown with a lot of light for example.

I forgot the term for the white dots (if there was a term), but that's normal too. I believe it's just the Jade's way of excreting stuff through it's pores. Nothing to worry about either.

Flash made it darker for some reason! I adjusted the brightness on the image so hopefully it'll be better now.

I think this is how you respond to someone, I'm a newbie so hoping you see this!

normal for them to look that way with a array of changing seasons and tempatures
