A neighbour who moved in recently gave me a roughly one foot tall E. pachanoi, better known to some of the Illuminati as San Pedro. He did not have a bright enough window, and when he put this and a twin outside, someone stole the twin. Rather than risk the other one being stolen or having it become further etiolated, he offered it to me.
Now I shall try to nurse it back to health. If the stem will start to grow its normal diameter in my increased light, I can live with a thinner section in between the normal diameter. Otherwise, I will whack the guy just where the tapering begins. But I hate to lose the main growth point, even though I know an arm or two will soon form.
Your thoughts on this?
Christopher
