I would like to know also since I throw one out about four months ago outside in a pile of dirt were I throw all of my old dirt, last night I seen some leaves growing out from the dirt well I thought it was dead I guess not.

Aloe vera 'chinensis', a made-for-the-market, I think, direct relative of Aloe vera (which has yellow flowers and turns a darker grey-green in the summer in the ground than this one does) - it's got orange flowers.
