Aeonium experts - rooting some tiny rosettes

I rescued a little 3 inch Aeonium arboreum variegatum from a 1.5 inch pot at Walgreens. It is a perfectly miniaturized version of a full sized A. arboreum, complete with about 6 TINY branches that have lost their rosettes. I also rescued another rosette that had lost its whole plant.

I have three tiny rosettes, 2 much smaller than the 3rd. I want to try to root them, but they are so little, and of course, instructions all start with normal sized plants, a sharp, sanitized knife, etc. I have puny rosettes that have detached on their own and have only a thread of a stem that will desiccate quickly.

So, Aeonium experts, how would you go about trying to save these little rosettes? Give me some guidance, please! :-)
