Gathered up my bigger azalea pots and I can't wait to try one.

I've done both painting and decoupage on clay pots,havn't done any for awhile though.The ones outside lasted a couple years with the decoupage,as i had put several layers of decoupage medium on them.I still have a few in the house that i use on special occassions like xmas,and patriotic holidays.Those i don't plant in,just set a pot inside of them,and they still look like the day i did them which is over 10 years ago.I remember the time frame as i was still working then and i did them for a store display where i worked.I retired from there in 1999,so that's more like 15 years + -

I have painted terra cotta by primering the ceramic with a masonry weater sealant (white) and then painting with an exterior latex. The only problems in 5 years has been nicks.

I've had an idea to paint some resin pots with metallics and verdigris kits. There are kits for interior texturing for homes. Haven't done it, yet.
