propagating haworthias and aloe vera (please help)

So i bought home a Haworthia attenuata "zebra succulent" and I kept it in its original container for a couple days before repotting it. I guess I didn't check thoroughly enough when purchasing the plant because I noticed some tiny mushrooms were sprouting in the pot as well when I went to repot it. Surely enough, when i pulled the plant out of the pot it reeked of mold :(

Long story short, I had to send it to the ER for beheading and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the plant will make it. I see some tiny tiny roots coming out but some of the bottom leaves look a little sad.

Is it possible to propagate a haworthia? I have some leaves saved up in case the mother plant doesn't make it.

I'm also facing a situation with my Aloe Vera, I guess i potted it a bit too deep and the base of some of the leaves were sitting in the soil after watering and now the base has turned mushy (only the leaf though), is it salvageable or will i have to rip it off? :(

Thanks, any advise is greatly appreciated.
