Hello.
I seem to recall that this aloe's stem had fallen over and broken and I cut off the head to save it.
Well, after something like a year of sitting in this mostly perlite filled 12 inch diameter color bowl, the head has rooted.
Wait until Spring to pot up?
Just for fun, the dried out stem and leaves make some interesting indoor floral display.
As for the epi, kind of odd to have a flower come now. This is an epi with thinner leaves than I am accustomed too. This is the first ever flower. And I did try to see it open, but maybe the opening was very brief. Or maybe it never opened at all. Any comments on the epi species or any insight would be appreciated.
