Hello friends!

So my lovely boyfriend accidently knocked over my Huernia schneideria that was about to bloom and broke the pot, the plant and soil went everywhere, and it was just a huge mess! Honesly - I wanted to get in gritty mix anyway.

So, when I went to the store to buy a replacement pot they had a Echeveria with 4 bloom stalks on it so I decided that was his "I'm sorry" present. After all, I'm probably going to miss the blooms on my Huernia schneideria because of his mistake! lol My question is, should I go ahead and get it in gritty mix even though its blooming or wait for the blooms to finish? This is my first Echeveria so I'm not familiar with how hardy these are.

p.s. he also told me "NO MORE PLANTS!!!!" evidently they are taking over our balcony or something.... whatevs!
