Picture is a little fuzzy, but the plant closest to front appears to be Portulacaria Afra. A better picture might help to verify. Its super easy to propagate and grow depending on your zone.

In Zone 9 , I cant kill it.

it takes a long time to get anywhere closed to that thick.

If the trunk or stems are a reddish color ( while flexible ) or light brown if they have gotten "woody" , then its probably p afra.

Just do a google image search for smaller examples. The one in that link is done as a bonsai. The take alot of work and time to get to that state.

I googled images and yes, it is a P. afra! Thank you! I couldnôt find a definite information about its hardiness, though. It seems itôs not frost resistant, but I wonder if I need to bring it inside for the mild winter of Central Texas (Zone 8). Itôs in a pot (plastic, but with a mix of potting soil and perlite for drainage) with other succulents. Should I just bring it inside when thereôs a frost warning or for the whole winter?

I'm in zone 9 , central Florida. I plan to bring mine in when it hits the 40's at night, although I think it can stand it colder as long as its not wet. ( from reading , not experience )

I would suggest getting it out of plastic pots and into non glazed clay/terra cotta. Although it takes over-watering better then many other succulents, it is still a succulent and prone to root rot, and the plastic pots keep the soil wet longer sonce they don't breathe.

Having said that , I left mine outside all summer with limited rain shelter, and we got a TON of rain over the summer, and its been just fine. I think in part to the soil mix/ clay pot / and Florida heat. you may have different results.

For my P Afra's . I have them in MG Cactus soil (50%) and perlite (50%), topped with river pebbles.
