A friend of a friend moved to China and I was tasked with growing what appears to be two Echeveria and one unidentified succulent plants. I'm at a loss whether I'm exposing them to too much/not enough sun or overwatering them. One is in what appears to be seriously bad condition (the main root looks like its bending and falling off, so I posted it as an image file.
