It is normal, especially after transplanting. Of course, if you keep plant stalks short as I tend to, you don't really see these. But it is completely harmless. The only thing I would say is that sometimes aerial roots and lots of pups suddenly appearing is a survival response to bug infestations and other plant distress, but given that I see no signs of this and your plant was recently repotted I don't believe you have anything to worry about.
