If the temps are warmish (above 60), sunny and it's watered once in a while, it never stops growing. It is not a winter grower (IIRC, it tends to flower then, though), but an opportunistic grower. It grows best in full sun, but less than that's OK, too. It has no dormancy period, and will grow well in your area outside in the later spring / summer / early fall. When it's inside for the winter a watering every 10 days or so would be good. Another plant you can't have too many of. The leaves also readily grow new plants.
