Mine is doing the same. Good question. Don't know myself. Unless it gets colder than 45, I think I will let it go. My inside ones are doing poorly so I just took them outside to see what happens.

Your plant looks great. My plant(s) did beautifully outside this summer.

If you want to, potentially, hold off the bloom - slow it down so it will be in full bloom closer to Thanksgiving, your idea of leaving it outside in the cooler temps is a good one. Plus, they, like we, are so much happier when they get fresh air and a bit of the sun's light. In a few months neither will be practical. :-(

I think I'll follow your lead and leave mine out for a few more weeks.
