Some Epis need about 9 months for the fruit to ripen. How long has it been?

That's a fruit,not a seed pod?? It bloomed i think in may,will have to look at the date on my pictures to be sure.Guess i also need to read up on epiphyliums.

Most cactus seeds are in the fruit. Like prickly pear fruits, seeds are distributed throughout the flesh. I've drunk smoothies made out of the fruit after the seeds were picked out.
