Agave Americana 'Mediopicta Alba' - (White stripe Century Plant / Tuxedo Agave)

Wow I just saw my first one in person at the Armstrong Gardening center here in Torrance, CA.

It is a stunning dynamic sculpture that stood out among hundreds of other varieties of succulents. Only problem is the Mediopicta alba agave was $140, but it was also about 3 ft by 3 ft in a (*edit) *15 gallon pot.

I wish m camera took a better shot but I am poor at taking pics.

I ended up purchasing a Artichoke agave (Agave
Agave parryi var. truncata 'Retro Choke') for $16 and watch that grow. The Retro Choke also has a few pups if you can see in the bottom left of the pic so I figure I got 3 for the price of one!

I think artichoke agaves are still my favorite, but I will get a Tuxedo Agave if I ever see it for cheaper!
