Harvesting cactus seeds

Wow, all I can say is that I have a newly realized respect for people who sell high volumes of cactus seeds. I hope that they have highly developed methods to get the seeds.

I only have done about 6 pods so far, but what a lot of work! Trichocereus seed pods are very juicy and gooey. The Echinopsis pods are smaller so they aren't as bad.

I never get flower seed pods because I usually have my plants bloom inside and then I cut the dead flower off, but this year they were blooming outside because I gone. And I have a lot of insects buzzing around that apparently weren't afraid of those cavernous flowers,

Don't know what I'll get, if anything. I've never got any plants beyond the seedling stage before, but I would love to get them to the flowering stage to see if something new and beautiful develops.
