I am doing a couple of leaves and they are doing great. I have babies growing like crazy. I have no idea what I am going to do with all the extra plants. I do not need any more. At this point I am just doing it for fun. They will probably go in the garbage.

I have a 36 year old jade plant. It flowers every year when i bring it in. Some of the offspring grew as big. I got hit this year with a late frost that damaged the plant in the spring quite a bit. But it recovered. I lost a few main branches. Next year it's staying in longer, Never again!
Here's a photo from today for this thread. I have to use a dolly to bring it in. Pot diameter is 24 inches.

Here's a close up of one flower cluster from last year (December). The plant has 30 or 40 of these when flowering.

To Marquest: you can root the babies in small pots and donate them to a local thrift store to be sold there. That's what I do. I bring baby plants to my local humane society thrift store.

Jen654, I never thought of donating them before. I have never seen plants in our thrift stores. I go to St Vincent DePaul and GW. I wonder if they would accept them. I will ask next time I go in.

Thanks for the suggestion. It is sad I cannot resist when a leaf falls off to give it a chance to make a new plant.

Looks like a Compact, somewhat dehydrated.
Hopefully others will chime in.
