semps, jade and agave just for looking at

Well, in case you'd like to see my semps here in Northern CA, this is your lucky day.
Whatever variety this is really likes the conditions. Fills in the pot and then some. Jail break! A couple are going over the wall.

This variety doesn't pup much. It is growing in a terra cotta loaf pot that I drilled some drainage holes in.

This pot has the complete life cycle of semps illustrated. Dried flower stalks, dead mothers, new pups.

Here are some hobbit or gollum (or maybe e.t. fingers) jade cuttings that were just sitting in an empty pot on the deck in the shade for about 6 months until I potted them up recently. They are doing quite well with new growth. Jade cuttings are very patient.

This agave's fronds all rotted/dropped off (except for these bat wings). But the plant is not a goner as pups just started popping out again. Agaves are hard to kill except with a machete.

Pups a poppin' up close.

Thanks for looking! Hope you enjoyed.
