Nice plant. I am just guessing here - have seen photo of similar looking plant: croton 'Sloppy Painter', or another: aucuba 'Gold Dust' or 'Golden King' - I could be totally off...Rina

I think there is a dracaena like that, can't remember the name.

Are the top and bottom leaves all from the same plant? The leaf patterns look different, although that could be new vs older leaves. Here are a couple of possibilities, although you should really check over on the house plants forum.

Aucuba japonica, gold dust plant

Hypoestes phyllostachya, polka dot plant which is usually pink and green, but I believe can also be yellow and green or white and green.

Try Googling them and see if anything matches. And definitely try the house plants forum.

another pic showing the whole plant from the side would help alot. Leaf shape looks like Dieffenbachia, not croton.

I have the same plant though yours has really nice mottling/ spots. Definitely not a croton - leaves are more tender - and not a dieffenbachia... i've always thought of it as Dracaena surculosa 'Florida Beauty". Then i read marguerite's comment and researched further. It turns out that godseffiana is the outdated name, but still used more (like coleus for scuthfsgsvscbscb what).

Could be Aucuba japonica, gold dust plant. I have one growing out side year round. Hardy to zone 6. Looks just like a tropical croton except leaves are opposite on one and alternate other. Can't find my info to tell you which.
