Sorry, no it's a bad idea. Putting rocks in the bottom actually causes problems, it doesn't help drainage as most folks think.

What makes it an AV pot, is it self-watering?

AVs & succulents have COMPLETELY different watering needs. This is likely to rot the succulents mighty fast, sorry a bad idea.

You're welcome, but you still didn't say what makes it an AV pot? Can you perhaps pls post a pic?

Depending on the pot, maybe you can find some other cool plant to put in it.

You put the water in the bottom and it slowly seeps through the clay pot.

The fact that it has no drain holes makes it questionable for succulents and cactus. Drainage will always be bad no mater what you do UNLESS you drill hoes in the bottom of each pot.
