I usually cruise eBay after seeing interesting pictures in this forum. Stapelia looked interesting and "Tiger Jaws" showed up in some of the seller's other items but the shipping charges usually stop me from buying. Today, I was in my nearby huge hardware store on my way to the check out counter and saw several trays of succulents. There they were in 2.5 inch pots. I thought the grit in the pot surface was just for show but the entire potting mix appears to be grit and lava rock. When I pot them up I will probably mix it 50-50 with my usual Miracle Gro Cactus Palm, and Citrus mix because everything else I have seems to do well in it.
